But Apple’s Greater China division, which Ge Mahe has led since 2017, has held up as buyers gravitate toward its higher-end devices. In the second quarter of 2022, iPhone shipments in China hit 9.9 million, up 25% year over year. Ge Mahe supports Apple’s efforts in China to meet its 2030 carbon-neutral goal.
