Tomé continues to execute on her vision of a “better, not bigger” UPS. As the company realigns its focus, UPS posted lower-than-expected delivery volumes amid a drop in contracts with Amazon and other customers. That, however, has provided room to grow: UPS acquired local same-day delivery platform Roadie last year, and health care logistics provider Bomi Group in August. Profits and sales in 2021 jumped 860% and 15%, respectively, year over year.
