That’s why Fortune has compiled a directory of more than 150 accredited online master’s degree programs in social work. All of these programs are accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).

The demand for nurses has been impossible to ignore in recent years, while nurses looking to advance their careers need to acquire new skills—and often while still working full-time. That’s why Fortune set out to rank online master’s degree programs in nursing. In total, we ranked 44 online MSN programs in 2022.

Public health professionals are in high demand and enrollment in online master’s degree programs is growing—that’s why Fortune wants to help prospective students navigate this burgeoning field. For the second year, Fortune is releasing its ranking of the best online master’s of public health (MPH) programs. In total, we ranked 14 online MPH programs this year.

The nurse practitioner profession is among the most in-demand roles in the U.S. in 2022, with a projected 46% growth of nurse practitioner jobs between 2021 and 2031, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. Becoming a nurse practitioner can be rewarding with opportunities to help provide care to patients and the potential for high pay but getting an advanced nursing degree is also hard work and can be expensive. That’s why Fortune has compiled a list of the 15 most affordable online master’s in nursing degree programs with nurse practitioner concentrations. The listed tuition amounts were collected from nursing schools for our Best Online Master’s in Nursing in 2022 ranking. If schools did not provide the total tuition cost of the program, we multiplied the cost per credit amount by the minimum class credit hours required to graduate. Cost-per-credit amounts were either provided by schools or taken from the program’s website.
