UnitedHealth Group

UnitedHealth Group is the nation’s largest health insurer by revenue. The health care and insurance giant employs more than 125,000 people and partners with 1.3 million physicians and health care professionals as well as 6,500 hospitals nationwide to help customers receive the care they need. In 2020, the company was recognized for supporting its members throughout the pandemic. In May of that year, UnitedHealth announced it would rebate premiums for some commercial customers and waive cost-sharing for Medicare members as part of a $1.5 billion pandemic assistance program. The company has also provided more than 2,500 oxygen concentrators and other medical equipment to affected individuals since the pandemic began.
