CVS Health is a health care corporation and parent company of CVS Pharmacy, which operates almost 10,000 retail locations across the U.S. In 2019, the company completed its acquisition of insurance giant Aetna for $69 billion as part of its overall goal to make health care more affordable and accessible for consumers. In the face of the pandemic, CVS Health stepped up in a big way to help combat the coronavirus: According to CEO Karen Lynch, the company administered over 15 million COVID-19 tests and 20 million vaccinations nationwide.
