A subsidiary of Google, YouTube is a hot spot for sharing videos. The service, led by CEO Susan Wojcicki, created a new generation of celebrities who make millions of dollars through sponsorships and ads that are attached to their videos. But the service has come under fire for failing to control violence, pornography, and conspiracy theories. Despite its struggles, YouTube continues to branch out, most recently working on adding subscribers to its streaming-entertainment service, YouTube TV.
